Evangelist Viola E. Stewart was born February 5,1942 to Rosie Mae Head and John Holliman.  Viola’s mother called her Charity, but she was affectionally known as Chatty. Having been blessed with 79 years of life, Evangelist Viola was called home to be with the Lord on July 25, 2021.

Viola was known as a professional student due to her love of school and education.  She received multiple degrees culminating in her doctorate in theology.

Evangelist Viola taught an innumerable amount of people as she taught everything from 7th and 8th  grade to college courses to nursing home, prison, and street ministries.  She was president of the Women’s Aglow ministry and spent many years volunteering with the United States Naval Sea Cadets.  She loved crocheting, telling jokes and winning souls.  Most of all she loved to make other people smile.  She was a loving mother to many and always loved to help whomever she could.

She was truly loved and will be missed

She is preceded in death by her parents Rosie Head and John Holliman, brother Jerry Head, sister Sara Butler and three grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Cheryl Kato, Pastor Tyrone Bailey (Christina), Harry Foley (Suzanne) and Jonathan Stewart as well as her brother Michael Head (Loretta), sister Pam Harrat and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, friends and her two dogs whom she loved.
