Marilyn Frances Hale was born June 11, 1944 to Mildred Burke and Thomas Morris. She spent her teenage years aspiring to become a nurse. After graduating from Marietta High School in 1962, she was able to pursue her dream.

Shortly after giving birth to her oldest two, she and her ex husband Edward Hale moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1966 to create a legacy of their own. In 1984 she retired from a career in Xerox to spend more time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory with ex husband Edward Hale, children Pamela Hale, Thomas Hale, Michael Hale, Michele Hale, Jasmine Hale, grandchildren Shawnta Hale, Shalanda Curtis, Jonnetta Williams, Danielle Jamison, Johnathan Jamison, Revena Clark, Isaac Hale, Daryl Hale, 31 great grandchildren, countless adopted children and grandchildren, also a host of other relatives and friends.
