Patsy Aliece (Mosley) Bates, age 85, was born to Frank and Mildred (Weaver) Mosley December 16, 1930, in Chillicothe, Ohio. Her faith became sight when she went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 23, 2016.

Patsy was a devoted and loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother and friend. She enjoyed music and traveling. She loved the Lord and was a faithful Christian.

Patsy was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, Gerald (Buck), Donald and George (Red) Mosley, one sister Jacqueline Smith, and granddaughter Rosa Mickles She leaves to cherish her memory seven daughters; Kirby (Eugene) Turner, Betsy Bates and Julia Rucker of Columbus, Ohio, Jennifer Barker of Southfield, Michigan, Ellen (Willie) Mickles of Toledo, Ohio, Devon Bates of Indianapolis, Indiana and Holly Mitchell of Pataskala, Ohio; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one brother, Timothy Mosley; many nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Central Ohio and The staff at The Woodlands Assisted Living Center for their help, care and support. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity or church of your choice.

Memorial services will be held 11am on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at North Linden Baptist Church, 1783 Melrose Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43224 where the family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.
