Rickey Woodard, age 66 was born September 30, 1955 to Jessie and Essie Woodard. He went home to be with the Lord on Friday July 8, 2022.

Rickey was a faithful and dedicated member of the St. Thomas Baptist Church where he served in many different capacities. He was appointed to be a Deacon and served in that position for many years. Being a Deacon was the most rewarding to him. He loved to serve God and God’s people.

After St.Thomas, he and his wife, Arjeania immediately united with the Triedstone Baptist Church and remain dedicated and faithful to the ministry. As was stated before, they were a quiet couple but faithful and loved attending Sunday school.

Rickey and his wife have been together since middle school and you rarely saw one without the other.

Rickey was employed by Big Bear stores and Columbus Steel until he retired.

Rickey is preceded in death by his Parents; Jessie and Essie Woodard: Brothers; Lawrence Woodard and Willis Woodard.

Rickey leaves to treasure his memory is his loving and devoted Wife; Arjeania Lewis Woodard who was also his caregiver: Brothers; Jessie (Melody) Woodard and Roland Woodard of Columbus Ohio: Sister- in -Law; Paula Lewis: Brother in Laws; Paul Brockington, Michael Lewis & Daniel Lewis of Dayton Oh: Special Nieces; Felicia Pritchett and Diane (EJ) Harris: Other Nieces and Nephews; Anthony, Willis, Jessica, Maya, Tricia, Nakia, Robert, William, Joey, Little Larry, Derris, Dayson & Tyson: Special Friends; William (aka Timmy) Smith and Tim Keysor who always visited him, checked on him and drove him: Special Great-Great Nephews; A’Ni-Braxton, A’Island and a host of other nieces, nephews and many many cousins.

Visitation 11:00 AM and Funeral Service 12:00 PM Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church, 858 E. 3rd Ave.

Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
