Anthony Salik Johnson Sr. was born January 23, 1978 in Warren, Ohio to Mark A. Jones and Crystal F. Johnson. Anthony passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from complications.

Anthony, to his family was known as Tony, and to his friends he was known as Capone. He was the oldest of seven siblings. He attended Briggs High School and graduated in 1997, and worked as a warehouse worker. Tony resided at Denmark Rd. in Columbus, Ohio with his fiancé Stephanie Turner and their five children. He enjoyed cooking, playing cards, working in his yard and people in general, he never met a stranger.

Anthony is preceded in death by his brother, Brandon Michael Bufford; grandparents Daniel and Ruby Johnson, Curtis and Margaret Bufford, and Ulysses Jones, Sr; aunt/grandmother, Rose Belser; aunt, Crystal Bufford; and uncle, Larry R. Johnson.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memory with his parents, Mark Jones of Warren, OH and Crystal Johnson of Columbus, OH; step father, Christopher Bufford Sr., of Warren, OH; grandmother, Mary Lee Jones of Warren, OH; five sons, Antoine Jiair Turner-Johnson, Anthony Salik Turner-Johnson Jr., Aaron Michael Turner-Johnson, Antonio Brandon Turner-Johnson, and Zafar Tatum all of Columbus, OH; two daughters, La’sha Shalik Johnson of Warren, OH and Alana Darlene Marie Turner-Johnson of Columbus, OH; two brothers, Christopher Bufford Jr. of Columbus, OH and Dion White of Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Danille Marie Bufford of Columbus, OH, Constance Denise White, and Brandy Matai White, both of Atlanta, GA; God-parents, Ronald Diggs of Canton, OH and Cherie Rucker Moore of Youngstown, OH; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Mt. Zion COGIC, 1466 Atcheson St.
