Carolyn Jean Early was born March 12, 1952 to Elvin King Sr. and Penola L. Green King in Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her son: David Early Jr, Father: Elvin King, Mother: Penola L. King, Brother: Elvin (Scooter) King Jr, Rufus King, Sister: Doris M. King Carolyn is survived by daughter: Davita Early, Sister: Patricia King, Grandchildren: Deiontae Hillmon, David J. Early, Dalieah Sanghott, Kailah (Ju) Sisouvong. Great Grandchildren: Deairra and Denyla Hillmon, Gezibella Jackson, Zyn Sisouvong, Tre’Vean, Kartier Beatty, and a host of family and friends. Special friends/family; David Early Sr., Rose Rosser, Roz Abbott, Elvin
Shawn King, and Paula Elsea.

Carolyn was a graduate of South High School. After 35 years of service, she retired from Columbus Radiology/Ohio Health. For entertainment, she enjoyed bingo and various card games. She loved the OSU Buckeyes Football team. She would dress in her OSU gear every week they played. She enjoyed small social gatherings, with family and friends, filled with laughs and light-hearted banter.

Jeannie was so funny she would keep me laughing until my side would hurt. I’m so sorry to see you go. I love you and Rest Easy my friend. I will continue to keep the family lift up in Prayer.

Aunt Jeannie you will be missed just rest for now we all will see you soon I will never forget calling you over and over again just recently asking for that baked bean recipe and you laughing at me telling me I’m crazy I love you Glad I got to see you and hug you. It seems like yesterday you were telling me you saw my son, Gary, when you called you said, I figured it out. I had already hugged him, but I wasn’t for sure who he was but then I remembered that’s beanie Son!! and you called me. We laughed about that.
