Christine Alice Harris, affectionally known as Chris, was born on October 18, 1949 in Mansfield, Ohio. She was the fourth child of David and Classie Harris. She departed this life on June 5, 2022.

Chris graduated from Mansfield Senior High School and later continued her education at The Ohio State University. She worked for 28 years at The Ohio State University and retired from there in 2014.

Chris was known for her vibrant and fun loving nature. When Chris walked into a room, she lit it up. She loved to laugh and have a good time. She loved her family and was a loyal friend. She always kept up with the young ones in the family as they reached various milestones in their lives. Christine was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and professional tennis. She loved to travel, especially to tropical locations with beautiful beaches, watch game shows and do crossword puzzles. Her favorite pastime was playing bid whist with her family and friends, and she was an exceptional player. Another favorite activity was working out number schemes to play the lottery which she did until she was no longer able to do so.

My dear sweet cousin/sister. Yep, sister! We were more like sisters then cousins! There is a void in my heart cuz. we have been through a lot together. I’m truly going to miss that smile your sense of humor and that infectious smile that would like up a room when you entered it! If anyone who have known Chris, know she was the most kind, thoughtful person you would want in your life and to be around. May GOD bless and keep your family/sisters in Jesus name!
