Darlene LaRue Green (Newby), was born on November 20, 1950 in Braddock, PA to Nicholas Newby and Beatrice Newby. She went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2020.

Darlene matriculated through the public school system of Clairton, PA and later moved to Columbus, Ohio and completed studies at Columbus State Community College. She enjoyed helping people and retired from National City/PNC Bank as an Executive Assistant of the Private Client Group.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas Newby and Beatrice Newby, and her brother, Nicholas Newby Jr.

Darlene leaves to cherish her memory, siblings, Deborah, Yvonne, Marguerite, Jonathon, Steven, Crystal, Bruce, Doran, Barbara, and Tonya; children, Gary Jr., Daniel, Garla, and Damon; grandchildren, LaKitta, Whitney, Carlton Jr., Gary III, Daniel Jr., Mercedes, Sean, Kenadi, Malana, and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Sincere, Carlton III, Sierra, Symere, Davion, and Javari; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Public Visitation 9:10:30am Saturday, October 3, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
