Edward Earl Coates, 56, fell asleep in death, Tuesday Octoer 9, 2012 at his residence. he is preceded in death by step father Jessie McKinley Sr., sisters Kim R. Coates and Terry B. Coates, grandparents Johnnie J. and Jessie Bell Coates, Sr., and uncle Johnnie J. Coates, Jr. a graduate of Yonkers High School in Yonkers, NY and worked as an Animal Lab Technician for over 27 years at The Ohio State University. Edward leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters, Dashea nd Tanisha Anderson, sons Anthony and Raishawn Anderson all of Columbus, Ohio and son Darius Bass of Yonkers, NY; mother Earnestine Coates, sisters Alisa Scott and Sonia Coates, step daughter Shenika McPheters, special friends Vanessa Anderson Coates and Loribeth Channell, 17 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Skippy left many fond memories behind, and I hope these will bring comfort to his family in their time of loss.
