Elder Jerry J. Helms, age 73. Sunrise December 3, 1944 and Sunset October 17, 2018.
She was a graduate of The Ohio State University and retired Educator from Columbus City Schools. Elder Helms was Founder and Lead Servant of Word of Life Teaching Ministry and a servant at Abundant Life Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nathaniel Helms.
Left to cherish her memory, mother, Ann J. Jones; son, Geoffrey N. (Cheryl) Helms; daughter, Kyln L. “Kelli” (Delbert Jr.) Brown; brothers, Milton “Pete” Seward and James G. Jones; sisters, Karen A. Jones and Kimberly G. Byrd; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Elder Jerry Helms will lie in state from 5:00pm – 6:00pm, family will receive friends at 6:00pm until the start of the Home Going Service a 7:00pm Thursday October 25, 2018 at Rehoboth Temple Church of Christ 1111 E. Long St.
Interment Friday 11:00am at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
