Elouise Kendrick, age 68. also known as “Ella” was born August 23, 1951 in Thomson, Georgia to the late Lonnie and Nellie Kendrick. She was the second child of six children. She went home to be with the Lord December 27, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio.

She came to Columbus, Ohio at an early age and been here ever since. Ella loved doing hair, bowling, cooking, and enjoying her life with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Elouise is preceded in death by parents Lonnie and Nellie Kendrick, sister Bertha, brothers Sonny, Johnny, and Larry Kendrick.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories; sons Sherrod Kendrick, and Jonathan (Mary), daughter Nikkie of Alabama, sisters Stephanie and Denise of Thomson, Georgia, special friends Renee Braxton, and Gail Smith, also a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Ella will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2020 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
