Esther Mae Hudson was born February 22, 1934 to the union of Rev. TJ and Lizzie Denson in Como, Mississippi. She relocated to Memphis with her family at an early age.

Esther accepted Christ at an early age. She was united in Holy Matrimony with her husband, Aaron Hudson Sr., who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Melvin Hudson; parents, Rev TJ and Lizzie Denson; granddaughter, Aaron Jean Hudson one great great grandchild, Mya Vaughn; six siblings, Cora, James, Minnie, JB, Christine, and Edna.

Esther departed this life early Friday July 16, 2021. Esther Hudson leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Barbara Hudson (Thad), and Yolanda Vaughn; three sons, Aaron Hudson, Michael Hudson, and Anthony Hudson; one brother, Jessie (Tambra) Denson of Memphis; three sisters, Gloria Thompson, Josephine (William) Link of Columbus, and Bonnie Walton of Memphis; one brother-in-law; 2 sister in laws; 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Esther will be truly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Monday, July 26, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave. Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
