  4. Sheila (Alexander) Day

Such fond memories of our time working together at the BWC. It was in Evelyn’s kitchen, at her home, during one of her awesome Christmas parties, that I met my husband, Ike…..and of course she had to be my maid-of-honor in our wedding.
Evelyn had a full and wonderful life and she touched the lives of many.
We all are just passing through. Will see you, Evelyn, in our eternal home.
Our love and prayers to the family.

  5. To the family and friends of Evelyn, my prayers are with you during this difficult time. There are so many words to describe her–beautiful, intelligent, classy, honest, adventurous and many more–which will make her presence missed. Knowing that she is with our Lord hopefully will bring you some comfort. Sending many hugs.

  6. Michele and Angie
I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. I can’t imagine how difficult this must be for you. Evelyn was always so kind and caring, and she had a way of making everyone feel loved and welcomed.
I know that no words can truly express the pain you are feeling right now, but I want you to know that I am here for you. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
    With deepest sympathy,

  7. Andrea (Simon) Barrett

To the Street, Collins, Lamar(Chambers), Stevens Family and any I have accidently omitted, know that God is in control and knows our needs. I remember Evelyn from Bethany Baptist Church as a child and remembered she was always “dressed to the nines” and wore that winning smile all of the time. She was beautiful inside and out. Be comforted in the knowledge that she is now safe in the Loving Arms of Jesus and free from all pain and suffering. If you draw near to God, you will see her again on the other side. Blessings to all and know that you are loved.

  8. My heart and prayers goes out to you and family. Your mom was a beautiful woman inside and outside. I met your mother at BWC as my trainer. She always pushed me to better my skills and to be the best I could be. We laughed together alot. Evelyn was a sharp classy lady. She will be missed. Her spirit lives on.

  10. Even though my heart is very sad right now, I smile because of the wonderful times I shared with my cousin Evelyn. My earliest memory of Evelyn is me being about 4 years old and fishing in the Five Mile Creek (behind Uncle Roy’s old house in Akron, Alabama) with Evelyn, my big sister Odessa, Uncle Roy and my daddy. That memory has always made me smile. I love my cousin Evelyn and will miss her, until we meet again.

My Heartfelt condolences to Evelyn’s family for her passing. I volunteered with Evelyn on the Board of Director of the Credit Union of Ohio for a few years. We would travel to Big 10 Conferences for the Credit Union, for a weekend, and after our classes, we loved to go shopping. May you rest in peace, and in Gods arms in Heaven, dear friend.
