Frank A. “Redd” Thornton III, age 47. Born on October 7, 1968 to the union of Frank Thornton Jr. and Toni Thomas. Frank received his education through Columbus Public Schools. He furthered his education at Job Corps in Dayton, Ohio where he studied cooking and HVAC. Frank held down various positions and could do just about any job.
Frank was a very charming and outgoing person; always laughing! He enjoyed cooking and fishing. He new many 0eople and never met a stranger.
Frank Thornton was preceded in death by his wife Tasha, grandmother Betty and father Frank A. Thornton Sr.
Left to cherish is memory are his mother Toni E. Thonton, son Frank Thornton, daughter Tamica Thornton, grandchildren Zion and Kah-Ron. Sisters Tina (Danny) Blackwell, Linda Thornton, Angela Thornton, Tavara Thornton, Tashawna Thornton, Yolanda Jones, favorite niece T. Danyel Thornton. Brothers Renauld (Kim) Ray, Orlando Elmore, Antoine Elmore, Tahlon Thornton and special friend- Alisa Alexander.
Visitation 10am and Funeral 11am on June 2, 2016 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave. Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
