Jayvon Gerald Smith Jr. affectionately known as Lil Jay, as well as Lil Hov, was born October 9, 1995. Jayvon departed this life on June 14, 2021 at the age of 25.

Jayvon Jr. was a product of Columbus Public Schools. Jayvon Jr. was a loving father and man. Jayvon Jr. had many special traits, one being an entrepreneur.

Jayvon Jr. was preceded in death by his great grandfather, James E. Smith; great grandmother, Sharon M. Smith; step grandfather, Steven E. Michael; uncle, James E. Smith; and aunt, Sharon Lynn Smith.

Jayvon Jr. is survived by his son, Jayvon Gerard Smith III; father, Jayvon Gerard Smith, Sr.; mother, Patricia Ann Smith; grandfather, James Goolsby; grandmothers, Mable D. Michael and Tina Perkins; brothers, Tjuan Meadows Jr., James E. Smith III, Jaylen Smith, Jayvontez Smith, Jaymar Smith, Jacques Smith, and Jayvion Smith; sisters, Jayvonnae Smith, Jaymone Smith, Tjuanna Meadows, Sharon Smith, Austrillia Kelly, NaTaesja Smith, Jayvonshae Smith, Jayvontea Smith, Jayvonique Smith, Jayleia Smith, Jaylee Smith, and Jayvoni Smith; special friends, Tjuan Meadows Sr. and Monica Howard; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Church Of Christ Of The Apostolic Faith, 1200 Brentnell Ave.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
