Jeffrey Lynn Hull, age 61, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away October 25, 2023. Jeff was born September 29, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio, the fourth of five children, to his parents, Bruce and Janis (Mitchell) Hull II. Jeff graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1980, where he met Richale Thompson. They have a son, Rishaad Thompson. After high school, Jeff was soon employed by the U.S. Postal Service, where he worked for 23 years. He was recently employed by The Shelly Company as a heavy equipment operator, a position he was very proud of. Jeff was a fun-loving, and caring person. His laugh would light up the room. He loved shooting pool, playing corn hole, playing the lottery, and hanging out with family. In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents Gilbert and Gertrude (Ashby) Mitchell, uncles Donovan and John Mitchell, aunt Brenda (Mitchell) Palmer, nephew Daniel Floyd, sister Tamara Hull, cousins Albert Henderson, Anthony Bolden, and Gilbert Mitchell. He is survived by his son RiShaad Thompson, brother Bruce (Barb) H. Hull III, sisters Victoria Floyd, Angela Martinez, Cheryl Hull, and Tonya Hull, grandchildren Reiyah-Lynn Thompson, Rahmah Thompson, and Jon Thompson, nieces and nephews Ashley Hull, Joshua Floyd, Jasmine (Alex) Swanson, Brandy Walters, Brent Walters II, Portia Crowder-Hull, and Eric Calvin, Jr., as well as many other family and friends.
Celebration of Life Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 East Livingston Ave.
