Mr. Jerome Holt was born April 21,1959 in Titus, Alabama to the late Eissie Maud and Curtis Holt and relocated to Columbus, Ohio when he was 4 years old.

Jerome was a 1979 graduate of Columbus Public Schools and worked for the Department of Taxation and G & J Pepsi.

Jerome was a member of Word at Work Ministries under the leadership of Pastors Mike Peebles and David Peppers. He was also a member of Bethlehem Temple and Mt Zion Churches under the leadership of the late Bishops Walter Jones and Gilbert Price.

He loved reading and studying the bible and listening to gospel music especially Rance Allen.

He loved fishing and working on cars with Deacon Bowers and Deacon Hayes. He would be fondly remembered as the Deacon with the church keys. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy’s fan and love watching old school cartoons.
