Jessica Hairston was born December 21, 1974 she passed away on April 4, 2018.

Jessica was a graduate of Columbus City Schools and went to receive her Associates degree in business from Columbus State Community College. Jessica lived her dream to be an educator by opening her own afterschool and summer program “Luv-N-Things Inc.”

Jessica loved to travel and experience new things. She never let anything hold her back. She loved to play the dozen and games with the children and sing and praise God and she loved her church family and pastor. She never turned down a chance to brag and share the word. During her many adventures in life, Jessica had the opportunity to find and meet 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and nieces and nephews from Youngstown, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by father Jesse Hairston and Maternal Grandparents Jim and Pearl Hairston, Ernest and Nancy Ellison.

She leaves to cherish her memory with mother Betty Hairston, children Hairston Monroe, Chris Duncan, Tyler Moody, Zahara Moody, sister Jennifer Houston, 3 nephews, 1 niece, cousin Thurron Barnett, special aunts Ernestine Barnett, Lillian Houston, Uncle Jimmy and Jean Cocroft, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Jessica will be missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation 12:00 noon and Funeral 1:00pm Friday April 13, 2018 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 1535 Dewey Ave.
