Joyce Joann Mayne, age 78, was born August 5, 1942 and departed this life on February 7, 2021.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Mayne; parents, Eleanor Wilson and Otto Edwards; son, James Lipscomb, Sr.; sister, Carol Jackson; brother, James Wilson; and granddaughter, Infhon’e Mills.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memory, children, Joylette Dunlap, Henry Dunlap, and Rosemarie Dickerson; grandchildren, James Lipscomb Jr., Lamar Dunlap, Bryan Bowman Jr., Sir Dickerson, Henry Alexander Dunlap, Jovonn Dunlap, Eric Hinton, Aaron Cain, and Phanah Cain; sisters, Shirley Cason and Kathleen Crawford; brothers, Otto Edwards Jr. and Gregory Edwards; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Joyce will be forever missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Visitation 1:00pm and Funeral 2:00pm Thursday, February 18, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

To the family love one another ,support each other and forgive each other that’s what your mom did for you she loved YOU she was there for YOU and she forgave YOU. And she trust GOD TO GET YOU THROUGH TOUGH TIMES

    I really did not know Ms. Joyce, but I do remember seeing her face at church. She was a women of faith for the Lord Jesus Christ. May she rest in eternal peace with our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord is good,His mercies endures forever.

  14. My heartfelt condolences to your family. I was her realtor when she brought the home. I just remember us sitting in the living room and have long talks about every and anything. I found a sense of comfort being around her. She always stayed positive and loved her family so much. I am in disbelief as she had been on my mind so much that I called and left a voicemail. Heaven and Larry have their Angel back home. Praying for your family
