My condolences to the family, praying for you all.Hold on to the memories
Uncle Larry’s paternal presence was powerful and inspiring. He was equal parts loving and commanding of respect. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Uncle Larry is him hugging with “Bring it in,” the second is him laughing, and the third is of him sitting with contentment and smiling at nothing and no one in particular. Uncle Larry was quick to laughter and comforting others, a safe place to be, a supportive beacon even without needing to have a personal conversation, a model of how the simple act of just showing up to be a loving presence can have such a meaningful impact on those who you don’t even know are watching. He changed some of my misconceptions about strong, religious men and he did that in less time than it took for me to hear him tell a teasing joke for the first time, which was within moments. Uncle Larry was a truly precious, unique and loving man and I am grateful and humbled to have known him. Saying prayers and sending love to all who have to adjust to this life without the continued fortune of his powerful and loving physical presence.
To Robin and family we just found out that Larry passed away, sorry for your loss and deepest condolences, your neighbor Chester and Malvena Street, we’re here for you for any needs. God Bless you .
