Layona Kendra Hill was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 11th 1975 as the oldest of 3 siblings born of Linda Louise Hill and William Lane. Also included Stepfather Homer Lane.

Layona was a caregiver to many including; many nieces, nephews elderly and neighborhood kids. She lived a selfless life and gave generously to many that was in need. Layona had a heart of gold and she loved to spend as much time as she could with her family. She will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her and the privilege of loving her.

Layona was preceded in death by her mother Linda Louise Hill and her daughter Dawnisha Love.

She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Sharquira Love, and son; Wesley love jr; sisters, Kayona ( David ) Ward, Rosetta ( Ronald) Jenkins, Latasha ( Paul) Glenn, Roslyn Campbell, Andrea Groce, Antoinette Groce, Annette Groce, and Princess Lane. Brother; Homer (Jodi)Hill. Cousins; Tonette (Antwain) Matthews, Danny Hill and Christina Hill. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins beloved friends; long time partner Wesley Love and her beloved uncle Lavelle Hill.

Visitation 12:00pm and Funeral 1:00pm Saturday, February 1, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
