Linda lee Johnson

Linda Lee Johnson was born on June 16, 1953 to Janie Mae Banks and David Lee Banks in Columbus, Ohio. Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her hobbies included cooking and being outdoors, sitting on the porch talking to her neighbors, taking walks and doing yardwork as well as doing anything to stay busy always made her happy.

“Nanny” as she was called by her grandchildren and many others could always make you laugh.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Janie Mae Banks; father, David Lee Banks; nephew, Jerome D. Sams; and son, Champell “Donze” Johnson.

Linda leaves to cherish her precious memories, daughter, Michele R. Johnson; eight grandchildren, Masai Johnson, TiAsia Johnson, Masaivyon Johnson, Champell D. Johnson Jr., Deiontae Johnson, Malik Johnson, Tavonte Johnson and Kyheir Johnson; two greatgrandchildren, Zamyiah Johnson and Masaivyon Johnson Jr,; and a host of sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors.

Linda will truly be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
