Mr. Lamar was a longtime fixture on Glenmawr Ave. He would frequently be seen sitting on his porch, hailing those who passed and keeping an eye on the neighborhood. He was an eternal optimist, even about the Cleveland Browns, and his friendly manner and bright outlook on llife will be missed by us his neighbors. Rest well, Mr Lamar.
Eva I am so sorry for your loss.
I always loved walking by your house and seeing Louis on the porch I would stop and talk with him.I would ask how he was and he would answer “getting better and better and ask the Lord to give him one more day.I will miss those sunny days and his sunny smile

I’m so sorry for your loss. I will miss him saying hello during my morning walks. Such a kind soul.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
May God’s grace be upon the Lamar family. It is reassuring to know that we have victory over death through our Lord Jesus Christ. And though he is no longer here with us, his memory will always reside in our hearts. Be blessed
My condolences & prayers to Eva & entire family! We as long time neighbors on Atcheson st go a long way back. May God bless & comfort you in the coming days.
