Lummie Rhodes, Jr. passed peacefully on April 3, 2021. Lummie was born on February 9, 1953 to Lummie Sr. and Dorothy Rhodes in Columbus.

Lummie was a 1971 graduate of East High School.

Lummie is preceded in death by his father, Lummie Rhodes, Sr.; and sister, Beverly Jean Johnson.

Lummie is survived by his mother, Dorothy Neal; wife, Debbie Tuck; daughters, Lakisha Meadows, Curtisa Tuck, Lisa Layne, and Leathia Layne; sons, James Scales, Lummie Rhodes III, and Larry Layne; sisters, Beverly (George) Reynolds, Paula (George) Staton, Kim Graggs, and Candace Rhodes; special aunt, Flora Lawhorn; faithful companion, Tina; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.

Lummie will be truly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Monday, April 12, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
