Marla Mayleen Mitchell, age 60. Sunrise August 23, 1960 and Sunset January 25, 2021.
Marla Mayleen Mitchell was born on August 23rd 1960. Surprisely proud parents of twins were the Late Willie Frank & Ruby Mitchell. Marla entered Eternal rest at the age of 60 on January 25th 2021. At the Kobacker House in Columbus. Marla was always a very quiet, and beautiful caring person, even as a child. Her childhood was spent mostly in the church, where her father served as a pastor. Marla sang on the praise team along with her sisters. She expected and received the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior early on. Marla attended Linden McKinley High School and was apart of the graduating class of 1978. Marla lived and traveled various places, but didn’t take long she made her way back home. Marla loved her family and knew them well. She had a way with them and had no filters. Her comments were priceless! Her giggles and smiles were contagious. Marla was very smart and knowledgeable! She spent her quiet time reading and writing. When on the move shopping was her thing.

It was the little things that made her happy. She loved to spend time with the family, listen to music, dance, and enjoyed eating good food, and of course having an ice cold pop! Marla was truly a special one of a kind person. She definitely was a very strong willed and determined woman. She was a vivid fighter and fought a great fight even up until the very end. Marla will forever be missed and loved by many. Let us hold tight into the memories and keep hopes high that one day we’ll see her again.
