On February 23rd, 2021 Christ descended from heaven and claim another precious angel. Martha Sue Owens was born February 14th, 1947 to Mr. Walter Geiger Jr, and Mrs. Luvenia Perdue-Geiger Lamar County Georgia, at an early age Martha joined the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Martha graduated from Booker High School several years later she set out for her journey to Cleveland Ohio Only to plant her feet in Columbus. Working for the states was not enough, she wanted a family and a big one at that. Later she would graduate from Culinary Art School. Hobbies she also enjoyed are Fishing, Dancing, cooking, traveling, and hosting family cook outs with wonderful music, most of all being around the ones that genuinely loved her.

Martha was a homemaker she enjoyed having love ones around her, she was also a Love sitter for everyone if you were hungry, she would feed you needed a place to stay you were always welcome with open arms. She was a friend to all. On July 9th, 2002 Martha, married her love and life partner Lonray Owens together they shared Love, Respect and understanding until death departed them.

Martha was preceded in death by her father, Walter Geiger Jr; mother, Luvenia Perdue-Geiger, brothers, James H and Frankie Geiger; sons, Ramon and Larry; and daughter, Natasha Geiger.

Martha leaves loving memories that will forever live in the hearts of her beloved family, children, Reginald (Lorraine) Geiger of Atlanta GA, Robert (Tonya) Geiger of Columbus, OH, Nicole (Benjamin) Asare of Columbus, OH ,Natalie Geiger, Nadine Geiger, Luvenia (Mike), Lavonia (Gideon) Martey of Columbus, OH, LeVar Geiger, Ebony (James) and Jessica Geiger; sisters, Marcella Mitchell Columbus, OH and Toni Geiger of Atlanta, GA; brother, Conrad Geiger of Barnesville, GA; grandchildren, Amber Thomas, Alfred Geiger, Darren Cunningham Jr, John Gilbert, Jashawn Geiger, Sheldon Geiger, Marcos Vasquez, Armonde Vasquez, Dajonna Hollins, Dajon Hollins, Jamel Geiger, Mikel Geiger-Campbell, Miquan Geiger-Campbell Makenzie Fraley, Sada Geiger, Paris Geiger and Reggie Geiger; great grandchildren, Elijah Smith-Geiger, Arianna Gilbert, Madyson Brown, Naomi Geiger Nevaeh Geiger, Camilia Geiger, Cameron Geiger, Karon Geiger, and Azia Vasquez; close dear friend, Sonya Shelby; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation 1:00pm and Funeral 2:00pm Thursday, March 4, 2021 at  MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave
