Mary Rose Clark, 91, of Columbus Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on March 22, 2019 in Columbus.

Mary Rose Clark was born on June 27, 1927 in Wise, Virginia to Will Long and Beatrice Gillenwater she was the oldest of two children. She attended wise, Virginia school system. She married Robert H. Clark in Wise Virginia. Nine children were born to this union. Mary Rose was a homemaker. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Her most pleasurable moments were with her grand and great grandchildren visits. Mary was very proud of her children. She was known as the most hospitable person in her neighbor. Always had a kind word and smile for everyone that came by.

Mary Rose is preceded in death by her father Will Long, Mother Beatrice Gillenwater, sister Grace Long, her husband Robert H. Clark, daughters Alberta and Ilberta Clark, son Larry Clark, Grandsons Larry Hylton, Stacy Barrett, Tracy Barrett, Great-Great-grandson Diarrad D Ward, and Son-Law Richard Banks.

Mary Rose leaves to cherish her memories three Sons James R Clark (Mary), Robert Clark Jr. (Mary) of Akron Ohio, and Galen Clark. Three daughters Evelyn Banks, Teresa Miller (David) of Mansfield Ohio. And Cynthia Jackson. fifteen Grandchildren, and a host of Great and Great-Great-Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at THE MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
