My thoughts are with your family. I had the honor of working with Mike for several years. I’m a Michigan fan, and we always pecked at each other during football season in good fun. Mike displayed wonderful character and got a long with everyone. Mike helped me build a resume, and helped me establish my career by always pushing me to succeed and strive for what I wanted. If it were not for Mike I wouldn’t be the person I am today for which I am truly grateful. He was such a wonderful person and will be missed. God bless you guys in this time of grievance.

  13. Scott McIntire

I was one of Mikey’s coaches at Grove City. What a wonderful spirit taken from his family and friends to soon. A sweet smile, Michael as I called him was as sweet a person as that smile. It’s been years since I have talked with him. Our last conversation was at a Olentangy Orange V Marion Franklin football game. I was surprised he recognized me since it had been a significant time since I had seen him. It was like we never missed a beat. A great linebacker and fullback for the GC DAWGS. His dedication and team commitment as a youth revealed the success he would have in his adult life. Rest In Peace Michael, my life was enriched by having the opportunity to coach you. My condolences to family and friends.
    Coach Mac (Scott McIntire)

  21. Mike, Derrick and myself all met some 30 years ago in 1991. Mike became more like a brother to Derrick than a best friend. They have been together through all different kinds of situations and always stayed close. Mike was “uncle Mikey “ to our children and never missed a cook out or a fight / football party at our house, as he was a sweet guy who loved to eat, laugh and argue with Derrick about their sport rivalry between Cincinnati and Pittsburgh . He will be sorely missed by our family. My sincere condolences and prayers go out to his friends and family. We love you Mikey always ❤️ Jami Sutton
