Monica Renee’ Smith was born October 27, 1986, to John Larry Smith Sr. and Joyce Elaine McDade. She was the youngest of six siblings.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Monica on May 9, 2022. She peacefully took her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ hands to be in heaven.
Monica Renee’ is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles and Verna Smith; maternal grandparents, James and Velma McDade, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She leaves to cherish her memory, parents, John Larry Smith Sr. and Joyce Elaine McDade; sisters, Erica LaDawn Fompun and LaToya Denise Smith; brother, , John Larry Smith Jr., Jayson Anthony McDade and Antwon (Fayrn) Maurice McDade (Fat boy); nieces, nephews and family friends, all of Columbus, Ohio; the family would also like to thank Mignon Soniya for being there for Monica when she took her last breath and surrendered her soul to the Heavenly Father so that she could be free.
Monica Reneé will be forever missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
