Paul R. Jones was called home by our Lord and Savior at the age of 65 on Friday, March 12, 2021.

Paul “Dr. Jones” was born March 29, 1955 in Evergreen, Alabama where he attended Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  He moved to Mansfield, Ohio where he resided for the past 40 years.  Paul was employed at F.E. Meyers in Ashland, Ohio were he retired.

Paul prided himself on family and made sure his family stuck together. There is nothing that he would not do for anyone and made sure a smile was left on their face.  When it came to his children, he supported them with everything he could.  He was a hard worker, loved basketball and cooking.

Paul leaves to cherish his memory, 2 sons Deondre and Jerrell Jones (Columbus, OH), their mother Brenda Jones, 2 twin daughters Ameria and Chameria Washington (Meridian, MS), their mother Angela Washington, 3 daughters he treated as his own Zaciea Johnson (Houston, TX), Taneshia Gordon (Columbus, OH), Caira Washington (Columbus, OH) 8 grandchildren Avianna, Angelina, Zyairre, Jurnee Carmello , Michael, Jeremiah and Christian , 2 Goddaughters Kyler Oliver  and Maranda Bradley. His siblings, Dorothy Ewing, Doris Vaughn, Juril Jones, Zerline (Charles) Smith all of Mansfield, Ohio. Pearl Woods, Bessie (John) Littles, Marjorie (Lonnie) McCreary, 1 brother Percy Jones and honorary sister Hazel Nettles, all of Evergreen, Alabama.  Also, a host of nieces and nephews, two special friends Larry Adley and Greg Smith.

Paul is proceeded in death by his parents Willie and Annie (Samuel) Jones, brother Robert Jones Sr., and sister Carrie Jones.

Private Visitation 8:30 AM and Private Funeral Service 9:30 AM Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Community Temple Church of God In Christ, 338 Harker St,. Mask and Social Distancing are required

Interment at Mansfield Cemetery Association.
