Raymond Lee Taylor was born August 3, 1948 in Lundale, WV to the late Blanche L. Wright Taylor and John Otis Taylor, Sr.

Raymond attended North Gallia High School in Vinton, OH. Resided in Gallipolis and Columbus Ohio.

As a young man he was a professional tractor trailer operator, worked in health care at Holzer Health System in Gallipolis, OH and food services at Bellisio Foods in Jackson, OH. Later in life he was self-employed.

Raymond worshipped with Exodus Fellowship Church in Columbus, OH. Was known and loved for his can-do attitude and spirit. He looked out for his neighbors, family, and friends.

Raymond departed this life on Sunday, August 13, 2020 at Ohio State East Hospital in Columbus, OH.

Raymond leaves to cherish his memory, son, Leon (Dawnesa) DeLorch; loving companion, Sheila Smith; brother, Willis Taylor; sisters, Vivian Remmer and Ruby Nelly Taylor; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
