Roderick K. Moon, II was born June 25, 1984 in Columbus, Ohio to Cheri Josey and Roderick K. Moon. He departed this life to be with the Lord on May 10, 2021.

Roderick was a graduate of Westerville North High School.

Roderick loved outdoors and all types of reptiles. He had a contagious smile that would light up the room. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his funny laugh. Whenever you saw Roderick, he always had his sunglasses on. He loved to dress.

Roderick was always concerned about senior citizens and always willing to help when needed. He loved to eat, he always wanted be at the back of the line at a cookout to give everyone else a chance to be served because he was going to finish the pots. His favorite foods were chitterlings and his dad’s fruit pizza and fried chicken.

Roderick was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Cleveland Parker and Willie James Steele; step grandfather, James Sink; great grandmothers, Carrie Cooper and Mattie Poellnitz; and aunt, Charlene Williams.

Roderick leaves to cherish his memory, loving parents, Roderick K. Moon and Cheri Josey; stepfather, Dexter Josey; brother, Kareem Josey; grandpatents, Betty Parker Wooten and Shirley Sink; aunts, Tammy (Ansul) Robb and Janis (Percy) Wright; grat aunt, Joan Green; great uncle, Nathan Poellnitz; uncles, Eddye (Cassandra) Williams, Teddye Williams, Dannie Ray Steele, and Willie James (Dean) Steele, Jr; and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation 12:00pm and Funeral 1:00pm Friday, May 21, 2021 at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 1555 E Hudson Street.
