Rose Marie Dunson was born July 14, 1930, in Columbus, Ohio. She went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 10, 2021.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Manuel and Laura Ingram, husband of 57 years, Olas Dunson, brothers; Rudolph, Irven and Norman, sister; Imogene.
Rose was a woman full of pride and dignity. Rose accepted Christ at an early age. She was a Disciple at Macedonia Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member. Rose sang in the choir when she was a member at Gay Street Baptist Church.
Rose retired from the State of Ohio. She also worked for Columbus City Schools as a Teacher Aide. Rose was loved and respected by her neighbors and blessed many people along the way. Rose loved to cook and bake. She was known for baking cookies as well for her pound cakes. Rose loved arts and crafts plus she loved to sew.
Left to cherish her memories are sons; Eric J. Dunson and Gregory O. Dunson, sisters; Lois Ann Foster and Wanda Ingram, brother-in-law; Perry Dunson, grandson; Gregory D. Dunson Sr., great-grand children; Emperial, and son Malakius, Kennedy and Kamryn Cowans, Amya Rose Dunson, Gregory D. Dunson Jr. And a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, December 17, 2021 at Macedonia Baptist Church , 492 Oakwood Ave.
Interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
