Samuel Ernest Swanson Sr, a beloved father and pillar of the community, peacefully passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 79, in Columbus, OH. Born on April 11, 1944, Samuel led a life of resilience, determination, and unwavering love for his family.
Samuel, a proud African American man, dedicated his life to ensuring the well-being and happiness of his loved ones. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Emra Swanson and Angel Swanson, and sons, James Swanson, Samuel Swanson Jr, and William Swanson. Samuel’s children will forever cherish the memories and valuable life lessons he imparted to them.
Throughout his life, Samuel was admired for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. He served as an inspiration to those around him, modeling the importance of perseverance and determination. His dedication to his family extended beyond the home as he was an active member of the community, lending a helping hand whenever needed.
