SONJA JO FARMER-RIGGINS AKA “JO JO” WAS THE DAUGHTER OF TH LATE BERNARD FARMER JR. AND EVANGELIST JANET E. FARMER. SHE WAS BORN NOVEMBER 27, 1958

IN COLUMBUS, OHIO. SHE PASSED MONDAY JUNE 21, 2021 AT HER HOME SURRONDED BY HER FINACEE AND FAMILY.

SHE WAS PROCEEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND/HERBERT RIGGINS, UNCLE/ WILLIAM T SUBER II, SISTER/PATRICIA M. FARMER, NEPHEWS/SHAUN L. FARMER & SHANE RIGGINS. NIECE /ALEXANDRIA M. FARMER & GOD-SON/ JERMAR WATERS.

SGE WAS A FRANKLIN COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL ATTENDEE. SHE HAD WORKED AT SPIRIT SERVICES CO. FOR 22 YEARS THEN REGENCY MANOR AND WAS AN EMPLOYEE AT RIVER VISTA  MENTAL HEALTH.

SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER FIANCEE/CLEVE WESTMORELAND, STEPSON/CHE RIGGINS, STEP-GRANDCHILDREN/CHEJON RIGGINS, BRITTANY RIGGINS & RYLAN CHRISTIAN LAMER PEOPLES, GOD CHILDREN/ JALESSA MOSS & JANEA MADDOX.

HER SISTERS/ROSE FARMER-ALLEN & DIANA L. FARMER, BROTHERS/ALLEN FARMER, CHARLES FARMER, OF NEWARK OHIO. LELAND (JACKIE) FARMER OF COLUMBUS, OHIO & DUNCAN FARMER OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA.

JOJO HAD NO BIOLOGICAL CHILDREN HER NIECES & NEPHEWS WERE HER CHILDREN HER CHILDREN AS SHE CALLED THEM/PEACHES, DIEA CAMERON, MEYON, BRANDY, LIL DAVID, MANN, TEETEE, POPS, NIKKI, QUANDER, RAYSHON AND LEXI. ALONG WITH A HOST OF OTHER GREAT & GREAT GREAT NEPHEWS/NEICES.

UNCLES/MARTIN SUBER OF CIRCLEVILLE, OHIO & LEROY (DEBBIE) SUBER OF COLUMBUS, OHIO. AUNTS/SHIRLEY OWENS , MARY FARMER& LORETTA WOMACK OF NEWARK, OHIO & LAURA (SUBER) BATTLE OF RALEIGH, NC. BEST FRIENDS/ ZELDA LITTLE, DARLENE KEE, LINDA LAWRENCE, COLLETTE GARNER & CHERYL WATERS. ALONG WITH A HOST OF COUSINS AND FRIENDS.

JOJO WAS LOVING, CARING, GIVING, BOLD AND A VERY PROTCTIVE PERSON. SHE LIVED & ENJOYED LIFE TO THE FULLEST. SHE WILL BE M ISSED BY ALL W H O KNEW HER. OUR YOUNGEST BROTHER, HER BABY, NOW UNDERSTANDS THAT THERE WILL BE AS  HE PUTS IT “NO MORE KISSES”. EVEN THOUGH THAT IS TRUE. THERE IS ALSO NOW

Private Visitation 10:00 AM and Private Funeral Service 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.). Interment at North lawn Memory Gardens.
