William “Billy” “Still Bill” Henry Caslin was born on February 1, 1958, in Columbus, OH to parents Ersula and Robert Caslin Sr. He went home to be with the Lord May 5, 2022.
William was educated in the Columbus Schools attending Linden High School. He then served his country in the U.S. Army from which he received an honorable discharge. He then married his longtime sweetheart Jacqueline (Jackie) Caslin on July 20, 1999. They had a total of four children together. They met in their early childhood at 12 years old. Jackie picked on him calling him baggy eyed Billy. The love they had for each other was amazing.
William was a husband, father, uncle, best friend, and good man overall. He loved to make everyone laugh. No matter where he was or who he was around, he was always making jokes, He was a roofer at A & W roofing for many years. He attended Rhema Christian Center where he was baptized with his wife Jackie.
William is preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Caslin; parents, Ersula Caslin and Robert Caslin Sr.; brother, Robert Caslin, Jr; and sister Cynthia L. Dunning.
William leaves to cherish his memories, son, William Davis; daughter, Jacquel Caslin; stepdaughters, Shavon (Chenise) Smith and Shanelle Smith; brothers, Ricky (Taisha) Caslin Sr, Gregory (Twyla) Caslin, and Robert (Mary) Chappelle; sister-in-law, Marla Caslin; grandchildren, Destiny Dorsey, William Davis Jr, Jordan Davis, Jayden Davis, Brooklyn Sheppard, Mason Wellborn; close friends, Charles “Termite” Dunning and Tony Lavender; all of the Dunning family, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
Interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
