William Robinson

William Benjamin Robinson of Columbus, Ohio was born August 15, 1965 to Joyce Robinson and Jimmy McQueen both of Youngstown, Ohio.

He unexpectedly transitioned on August 3, 2021 at the age of 55.  William was sweet, kind and a pleasant child with a huge smile on his face and a big heart, but he could be mischievous at times.  Some may remember him selling his bicycle parts to purchase candy at the early age of five.  He was always trying to find means to getting candy as a kid.  William’s big heart and kindness continued throughout his entire life.

William graduated from South High School in Youngstown, Ohio where he played tailback, wide-receiver and was on the kickoff return team. He wore the #38 for those four years as a South High Warrior. William attended North Iowa Area Community College where he played football and studied to be a mechanical engineer.

William came back to Youngstown where he began working at Kaleel Brothers, Diamond Head Nursing Home and Turning Point.  In January, William finally got his dream job working at SeaCrest Rehab Center as a Behavioral Health Technician where he took pride in making a difference in young men’s lives whom were recovering from alcohol and drug abuse.

To mourn his loss are his sons, William (Courtney) Robinson and Kevin (Cianna) Hunter both of Columbus, Ohio, 10 grandchildren, mother Joyce Jones of Columbus, Ohio, siblings Cynthia (Neal) Sleppy of Ruskin, Florida, Harold (Monique) Robinson of Twinsburg, Ohio, Tony (Regina) Robinson of Naperville, Illinois, along with uncles, aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to cherish his memory.
