Roberts, Frank Lynn Sr. 77, of Springfield, Ohio was called from labor to rest on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. He was born on August 27, 1946, in Dennison, Ohio to the late W. Henry, Sr and Lala Wilma (Upshaw) Roberts. The fifth of ten children, Frank graduated from Dennison High School in 1964. He was drafted into the US Army where he served in the Vietnam War. Frank and his late wife, Mary Gordon
Roberts married and moved to Springfield, Oh in 1968. To their union, Frank Jr. and William Roberts were born.

Frank was a kindhearted, hardworking, generous family man. He retired from General Motors after 30 plus years of service. Frank was an avid bowler, earning his ring for bowling a 300-point game more than once. Especially in his retirement, he could be found Monday through Friday at the bowling alley. In his leisure time, he loved watching sports and playing games with his family. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two sisters, Clara Berrien and Ardella Weaver, two brothers, Craig Roberts and William Henry Roberts, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Frank L. Roberts Jr. of Springfield, Oh and William Roberts of Columbus, Oh; bonus daughter, Krystal Sanford of Springfield, Oh; sisters, Gwendolyn (Earl) Porter, of Springfield, Kendra Searcy of Snellville, Georgia; five brothers, Walter Roberts (Betty Washington) of Dennison, OH, D. Eugene Roberts, David Roberts, Harry (Shirley) Roberts and Anthony Roberts (Lisa James), all of Springfield, Ohio; grandchildren, Asia Roberts, Malcolm Roberts, Sania Edley, Dominique Keels, Malik Roberts, Ayesha Roberts, Morgan Roberts, Deidre’ Roberts, and Andre Roberts; great grandchildren, Shakur Duff, Malakai Roberts, Massiah Roberts, Goliath Roberts, Sevyn Carter, Sah’voen Roberts, Zakilagh Roberts, Zaye Roberts, and Zah’Kari Roberts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
