Pearline Bean affectionately known as Lois was born October 10, 1943 in South Carolina to Ed Douglas Murphy and Willie Mae Murphy. She departed this life on December 25, 2022.

Pearline Bean attended Columbus City Schools and retired from being a cook at Wheatstone High School. Pearline love to cook and enjoyed feeding people.

Pearline was a member of the Exodus Fellowship Church.

Pearline was preceded in death by her father, Ed Douglas Murphy; mother, Willie Mae Harris; husband, Robert Lee Bean; daughter, Alisa Ann Bean; grandson, Joshua L. Bean; and sister, Betty Sargent.

Pearline leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Tracy Bean; sisters, Sandra (Freddy) Wade and Deborah Morgan; brother, Warren Murphy; sister-in-law, Josephine Trent; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation 1:00pm and Memorial Service 2:00pm Friday, December 30, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

I would come and sit on your porch and you would comb my hair and Mrs. Bean would be looking on smiling. I will miss all the run in’s at Walmart at least once or twice a year with Mrs.Bean with you.
