We honor the memory and legacy of Ter-Ran Kenneth De-Shawn Smith, who entered this world on February 21, 1982, in Gallipolis, Ohio, and departed on February 18, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio. Born to his loving parents Angelique and Kenneth Smith, Ter-Ran was the cherished brother of Dominique Smith, with a bond unbroken by life or death.

Although his time on Earth was all too brief, Ter-Ran’s impact was profound. His journey through education, marked by stops in Ohio and West Virginia, culminated in earning his GED and demonstrating a thirst for knowledge that knew no bounds.

A man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, Ter-Ran’s love for music, people, and social interactions illuminated the lives of those around him. His career as a dedicated traveling salesman and contractor allowed him to traverse many paths, sharing his expertise in roofing, siding, and magazine sales. Notably, he lent his talents to the family business, “Smith Tire Shop,” for a steadfast two years.

As we remember Ter-Ran Kenneth De-Shawn Smith, we invite all who knew him to celebrate his life and pay their respects at the forthcoming ceremonies. A Family Viewing will take place at the Chapel of Peace – North on February 28, 2024, at 6:00 pm, followed by a Visitation on February 29, 2024, at 1:00 pm. The Funeral Service, where loving memories will be shared and cherished, will be held on February 29, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Peace – North.

In reverence and reflection, we honor the life of Ter-Ran Kenneth De-Shawn Smith, an individual who touched hearts and left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his spirit find eternal peace as his memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.
